The official website of Patora Fuyuhara's light novel series In Another World With My Smartphone (Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomo ni.) TV anime season 2 announced the new cast, staff and premiere in Spring 2023.< br />
New cast members include:

- Miyu Takagi as Lucia Rea Regulus
- Yū Serizawa as Hildegard Minas Lestia
- Miyu Kubota as Sakura
- Katsumi Fukuhara as Touya Mochizuki
- Marika Kono as Yumina Urnea Belfast
- Maaya Uchida as Elze Silhoueska
- Yui Fukuo as Linze Silhoueska
- Chinatsu Akasaki as Yae Kokonoe
- Nanami Yamashita as Sushie Urnea Ortlinde
- Sumire Uesaka as Leen

A new team and animation studio were hired for the second season. Yoshiaki Iwasaki performs at J.C. Staff directed the anime. Deko Akao is responsible for the design of the series. Chinatsu Kameyama serves as character designer and executive animation director. Eiji Iwase is the art director. Eiko Nishi (Tokyo Ghoul:re) is responsible for the color design. Yutaka Kurosawa is the cameraman. Ayumi Yamagishi is the editor. Kei Yoshikawa and Kōhei Yamada are composing the music at Pony Canyon. Takumi Itō is responsible for the sound.

The first season premiered in July 2017 and aired for 12 episodes.
