The official second main trailer for the second half (2nd cour) of the TV anime series "Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers" has been released. The approximately 90-second clip shows, among other things, Inmei (voiced by Takehito Koyasu) declaring the destruction of the human and demon worlds to recreate the earth. Also seen is Yashimanosagume (Maaya Sakamoto) asking an unknown figure for help, as well as the resurrected demon king Rashinga (Katsuyuki Konishi) invoking his return. The video is accompanied by the ending theme "Bakemon," performed by the band KARANOAH. The second cour starts on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:30 PM on TOKYO MX and other channels (Kansai TV, BS11), and simultaneously on streaming platforms such as U-NEXT, dAnime Store, and Anime Hōdai.

To celebrate the start, BS11 will rebroadcast two episodes from the first cour: Episode 11 on June 24 (12:00 AM) and Episode 12 on July 1 (12:00 AM). Additionally, on September 15, the official manga adaptation of the first cour will be released in one volume ("Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers Seiden Jōkan"), illustrated by Minazuki Yuu based on the original by Hajime Yatate.

Alongside the already known characters from the first cour, new characters from the Heavenly Realm (Tendōkai) appear in the second half: Gomei (Tomoaki Maeno), Shimei (Aya Endō), and Gaimei (Hiroshi Shirokuma). They join the ensemble around Yashimanosagume and Inmei. For the opening, the band Dannie May contributes the song "BAD Idenshi"; the digital single will be released on July 8. The ending single "Bakemon" by KARANOAH will also be released on July 8. A live performance by the band is scheduled for September 23 in Tokyo.

"Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers" is the official sequel to the classic "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers" (also known as "Ronin Warriors"), which aired from 1988 to 1989. The director is Yōichi Fujita, and the series concept is by Shōgo Mutō. Sunrise produces the animation series.
