For the upcoming anime film "Odekake Kozame: Tokai no Otomodachi" ("Little Shark's Outing: Friends from the City"), based on the story by Penguin Box, a new visual has been released. It shows Kozame, the little shark, curiously wandering through the lively downtown area called "Shibu-uo." Also featured are the new characters "Usame-chan," a rabbit-like creature, and the shy "Ankou-chan."

Additionally, two new voice actors have been announced: Yuichiro Umehara will play the role of the somewhat intimidating but actually kind-hearted "Mohikan Aniki." Natsuki Hanae voices "Haruto," a young man who works in the city and treats Kozame to pancakes. Both actors emphasized in statements that their characters are meant to convey warmth and positive feelings to the audience.

At the "AnimeJapan 2025" event, a collaboration with the anime series "Bocchi the Rock!" was also announced. This will include exclusive merchandise such as T-shirts and buttons featuring Kozame and Hitori Gotoh. Furthermore, a stage event with Yuichiro Umehara and a Kozame mascot will take place on March 23.

The film, in which Kozame meets the girl Sora and embarks on an adventurous journey to the city, will premiere in Japanese theaters in the summer.
