A second key visual, a new promotional video, and first scene images from the first episode have been released for the TV anime adaptation of Byuu's manga "Let's Go Kaiki-gumi," which starts in July 2026. It was also announced that popular voice actress Hanazawa Kana will take on the role of the snow spirit Yukinko.

The new key visual gathers the main characters of the series, including the protagonist Mechako and Yukinko, who had not been seen in the image before. The promotional video contains clips from the first episode and presents both theme songs: the opening "Kimi ga Waruindakara ne" by SWEET STEADY and the ending "Norowashite ne?" by Uketsu, who is also known as a horror author.

The first scene images of the premiere episode show the timid protagonist meeting Mechako for the first time, the boss of the "Kaiki-gumi" – an organization that keeps ghosts and monsters in check. Also visible is the walk to school with his friend, a monk.

The broadcast begins on July 5, 2026, on the TBS network (28 stations nationwide) every Sunday at 4:30 PM. BS11 will air the series starting July 10 on Fridays at 11:30 PM. The anime will be available for streaming from July 5 at 5:00 PM on platforms such as d Anime Store, U-NEXT, Anime Hodai, and Anime Times.

To celebrate the anime adaptation, a pop-up store will be held from August 1 to 11, 2026, at the Annivroad by Bushiroad Creative Store (Shinjuku Marui Annex, 2nd floor) in Tokyo. Exclusive merchandise items with newly drawn illustrations of the characters will be offered there; the exact product lineup will be announced at a later date.
