Second season of “Hyaku You Fu” will air on October 2nd

The second season of the anime "Hyaku You Fu" (The Hundred Demons' Chronicles) will begin airing on October 2. A new key visual featuring the main characters has been released alongside a promotional video introducing the guest characters of the upcoming season.

"Hyaku You Fu" is set in ancient China and follows the journey of Tōyō, a physician who specializes in treating and saving supernatural creatures. He navigates a world filled with encounters, partings, and the constant struggle to help the Yokai he meets.

The Japanese voice cast continues with the main actors from the first season: Nao Tōyama returns as Tōyō, the compassionate and devout young monk who refuses to abandon those in need, whether human or Yokai, played by Ayumu Murase as Maga. Kengo Kawanishi portrays Ryūkōshi, a mysterious and handsome nobleman whose true identity is that of a giant serpent destined to devour Maga after granting him a series of favors. Additionally, the image of Gungun, a fox Yokai whom Tōyō and Maga encounter on their travels, has been revealed.

Along with the announcement of the new season, a 15-second TV spot has been released, giving fans a small taste of what to expect in "Hyaku You Fu" Season 2.
