Preparations for the second season of the anime adaptation of the manga "Kabushikigaisha Magilumiere" (Magilumiere Magical Girls Inc.) are in full swing. According to the official spinoff of the work and the website of broadcaster Nippon TV, two additional voice actors have been cast. Additionally, the opening theme song for the episodes airing from July 2026 has been confirmed.

Iwami Manaka, known from "The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses," takes on the role of Sakae Tounomori, the 28th Kami-Musume of the shrine in Kyoto, from which the origins of the Magical Girls stem. Fukunishi Masaya lends his voice to Hibiki Yamimori, a student at the renowned Kyoto Magic University. Both performers expressed their excitement about their characters in a statement. Iwami emphasized the challenge of the Kyoto dialect spoken by her character, while Fukunishi highlighted the special relationship between the two characters.

The opening song for the second season is titled "Ratemajikku," a collaboration between musician syudou and Yusei Yagi (FANTASTICS). The digital single will be released on July 5, 2026. The song can already be heard in a 30-second promotional clip released on the official YouTube channel. The ending theme is contributed by VTuber Houshou Marine with the track "BooooM!!!", composed by Giga with lyrics by q*Left.

The second season starts on July 4, 2026, at 24:55 (effectively 0:55 AM on July 5) on Nippon TV and other network stations. The first episode will begin at 25:05 due to a schedule shift. Alongside the TV broadcast, the series will be available on Prime Video via simulcast. Additionally, the first season will be streamed for free on the Jump+ YouTube channel starting June 20, 2026.

Previously, other voice actor roles had been announced: Kousuke Gotou as General Director Koshigaya, Taketora as Director Manda, as well as Higashiuchi Mariko as Hitomi Koshigaya and Watabe Sayumi as Iroha Akasaka. The second season is once again produced by J.C.STAFF under the direction of Toshinori Fukushima; the series concept and scripts are handled by Michiko Yokote.

The story is set in a world where Magical Girls belong to companies as employees and combat so-called "Kaii" – disaster-like phenomena. The first season aired from October to December 2024.
