The absurd isekai story Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (jap. Jidōhanbaiki ni Umarekawatta Ore wa Meikyū o Samayō) returns in July 2024 with a second season. Accompanying the announcement, a new teaser image and a first video were released, offering a glimpse at the continuation of the unusual adventures of the protagonist Hakkon, who was transformed into a vending machine.

The plot is based on the light novel series by Hirukuma and follows Hakkon, who is reborn as a beverage vending machine in a fantasy world after his death. The new season will expand the story with unexpected twists as Hakkon continues to grapple with his mechanical existence and the challenges of the labyrinthine world. The teaser video features exclusive dialogue from voice actors Jun Fukuyama (Hakkon) and Kaede Hondo (Lammis), who reprised their lead roles from the first season.

Director Takashi Yamamoto (Jewelpet Tinkle☆) leads the production again, while Tatsuya Takahashi is once more responsible for the screenplay. The character design remains under the supervision of Takahiro Sakai, supported by Naoki Yamauchi. The animation is again handled by studios Gokumi and AXsiZ, which established the visually unique aesthetic of the first season.

The sequel promises not only new bizarre encounters but also deepens the dynamic between Hakkon and his companion Lammis.
