Second season of the anime “Banished from the Hero’s Party” confirmed for January 2024

The second season of the anime series "Banished from the Hero's Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside" has been confirmed for release in January 2024. This was announced during the "Sneaker Bunko 35th Anniversary FESTA" event. The series follows the character Red, who is expelled from the hero's party and decides to live a peaceful life in a remote area. Alongside the announcement, new character visuals for Red, Ritt, Ruti, Tisse, and Yarandrala were revealed.



There have been some changes in the staff for the upcoming season. Satoshi Takafuji will be the new director, while the director of the previous season, Hoshino Shin, takes on the role of chief director. Both have commented on the new season, expressing their excitement and asking fans to look forward to an even "more powerful" season.

While the plot details of the second season are still being kept under wraps, it is expected to continue where the first season left off, focusing on the adventures of Red and his companions after surviving the battle over the "Divine Protection."
