The production of a second season of the TV series Medalist, based on the manga by Tsurumaikada, has been officially confirmed. News includes a first key visual as well as a preparatory preview video.

The released key visual shows protagonist Inori Yuzuki, in a focused pose on the ice under radiant light, accompanied by the slogan "She will shine brighter than anyone else". The preview video grants scenes from the regional qualification competitions for participation in the national championships, which will be addressed in the upcoming season. Furthermore, revised character designs with new costumes for the continuation were revealed.

An accompanying event for the series is planned at the "Summer Fest" of the TV broadcaster in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. On August 14, the following persons will appear:

- Natsumi Haruse (voice actress for Inori Yuzuki)
- Takeo Otsuka (voice actor for Akira Akiroji)
- Akiko Suzuki (figure skating choreographer of the series)
- Shuzo Matsuoka (main commentator of the Grand Prix series in figure skating)

This news was originally announced during the "Medalist Special Exhibition 2025" on July 27. A recording of this event is available until August 3, with access tickets purchasable until the day of the event.
