The continuation of the fantasy series has been officially confirmed. Alongside a planned release date, initial visual impressions as well as new voices in the ensemble were presented.

The second season of the anime, which bears the full Japanese title Clevatess: Majū no Ō to Akago to Shikabane no Yūsha (English Clevatess: The King of Magical Beasts, the Baby, and the Corpse Hero), is scheduled to be released from July 2026. The production of the work will once again be handled by Studio Lay-duce. Key members of the creative team, such as director Kiyotaka Taguchi and character designer Souichirou Sako, are continuing their work. The streaming service Crunchyroll will broadcast the new season worldwide simultaneously with the Japanese broadcast.

The released materials include a first main illustration image (Key Visual) and a short preview trailer. These show the return of the main characters and offer a first look at new story locations such as a theological academy.

For the upcoming episodes, five new roles and their Japanese voice actors have been introduced:

- Ray, voiced by Shūichirō Umeda
- Mary Merry, voiced by Yurina Kikuchi
- Andrew, voiced by Tatsumaru Tachibana
- Tigel, voiced by Ryōta Suzuki
- Leon, voiced by Hiromu Mineta

The main characters of the series will continue to be voiced by Haruka Shiraishi (as the resurrected heroine Alicia) and Yuichi Nakamura (as the monster king Clevatess).

The plot is based on a manga series of the same name by Yūji Iwahara, which has been published since August 2020. The story follows Clevatess, one of the powerful monster kings. After a conflict with a group of heroes, he takes a royal baby into his care and resurrects one of the defeated heroines, Alicia, to look after the child. The first anime season, which aired in summer 2025, told the beginning of this unusual journey.

The release of these details has triggered positive reactions among fans of the dark fantasy series. With the announcement of the concrete timeframe and the first glimpses, anticipation is growing for the continuation of this story about unusual alliances in a fantastical world.
