The popular anime series "The Eminence in Shadow" (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!), based on the light novel series by Daisuke Aizawa, is preparing to grace the screens once again. At an event titled "Kage-Jitsu Fes," the second promotional video for the upcoming season was recently unveiled. The live-streamed event brought news that caused a stir in the anime community—new cast members, the expected release timeframe, and the duration of the new season.





The second season is set to premiere in October and will continue the story with 12 episodes. "The Eminence in Shadow" takes a unique approach to the "transported to another world" trope (isekai), where our protagonist Cid does not aspire to the role of a typical hero or villain. Instead, he strives to operate behind the scenes, leading the secret organization Shadow Garden and combating a sinister cult that he himself invented. Surprisingly, it turns out that the fabricated cult is more real than he ever expected, leading to unexpected complications and thrilling plot developments.


The responsibility of bringing this vibrant world to life once again falls on the shoulders of Nexus Studio. Director Kazuya Nakanishi and his dedicated team return for the second season, ensuring a consistent visual style and creative direction.
