Second season of the TV anime “Aharen-san wa Hakarenai” announced

The second season of the TV anime "Aharen-san wa Hakarenai," based on the manga by Asato Mizu, has been officially announced. A teaser image and teaser video were also released.

"Aharen-san wa Hakarenai" is a coming-of-age comedy that depicts the relationship between the small, quiet Reina Aharen and her seatmate Raido. The first season aired in 2022. In a statement, Asato Mizu expressed gratitude for the support and excitement for the second season. Mizu praised the work of the team that made the first season a success and shared confidence in the team for the upcoming season.

An introduction to the second season was also released. The story continues after Aharen and Raido, having gone through various phases of closeness and distance, become a couple. However, in the new school year, they struggle to find the right distance with a new classmate. Inori Minase and Takuma Terashima reprise their roles as Aharen and Raido. The teaser visual shows Aharen and Raido on their way to school, both forming a "2" with their fingers.
