Second story arc of SAKAMOTO DAYS announced – New battles and musical accompaniment

The anime series SAKAMOTO DAYS (Sakamoto Deizu), inspired by the work of Yuto Suzuki, returns with a second story arc. At the center is once again Tarou Sakamoto, a former hitman who has devoted his life to protecting his family – even if it means confronting his violent past.

The new arc brings additional dynamics to the plot: Alongside the familiar team of the Sakamoto Shop, the state special unit ORDER makes its appearance. At the same time, the antagonist X unleashes a group of dangerous escaped criminals. These developments lead to a volatile three-way conflict between the factions.

The preview hints at personal challenges and inner conflicts, especially for Sakamoto, who feels increasingly torn between duty and family responsibility. Antagonist X also comes into sharper focus, revealing his own ideals.

The new arc is underscored by the song Method, performed by the band Kroi. The song serves as the opening theme and brings a new sonic dimension to the series. The band expressed excitement about the collaboration.

With new enemies, an expanded cast, and musical support, SAKAMOTO DAYS enters its next phase – while remaining thematically true to its core: the question of how far one may go for a life worth protecting.
