Second trailer for "Space Battleship Yamato: Be Forever REBEL3199 – Fifth Chapter" released

A new promotional clip has been released for the upcoming film "Space Battleship Yamato: Be Forever REBEL3199 – Dai Goshō: Hakunetsu no Ginga Taisen" (English: "Space Battleship Yamato: Be Forever REBEL3199 – Chapter 5: The Hot Galactic War"). This is the second trailer for this part of the series.

The approximately 90-second-long clip focuses on action scenes and shows large-scale battles in space. Several of the factions and fleets established in the "3199" series clash in a comprehensive conflict. The release of this fifth chapter is planned for February 20, 2026.

Coinciding with the film's release, the first part of the official soundtrack will also be released on the same day. The cover for the "Original Soundtrack Vol.01" album has been newly illustrated by the artist Kia Asamiya. An image of this design has also been released.

The film project "Space Battleship Yamato: Be Forever REBEL3199" is a reinterpretation of the third theatrical film from 1980. The series started in 2024 and envisions a total of seven chapters, which are to be released in theaters one after the other.
