Seija Musou - Episode 1

The first episode of "Seija Musou" (The Great Cleric) introduces us to the protagonist, a hardworking office worker who is reincarnated into a world of magic and monsters called Galdardia after a fatal accident. The mysterious being that reincarnates him grants him basic knowledge about this new world and allows him to choose his name, abilities, and profession. He decides to name himself Luciel and chooses the profession of a healer, hoping to avoid direct confrontations with monsters.

Luciel is reincarnated in a city called Merratoni in the Republic of St. Shurule. He learns about the importance of healers in this world when he is allowed to enter the city without paying a fee. He is escorted to the Healer's Guild by Lumina, a high-ranking guild member and captain of the church's new female paladin regiment.

At the guild, Luciel is registered as a healer and given a room to live in. He begins his journey by learning how to use magic, particularly the healing spell. He practices tirelessly, repeating the spell until his magic is exhausted, then waits for it to regenerate before repeating the process. His efforts pay off when he successfully casts the healing spell for the first time.

While Luciel is pleased with his progress, he is also aware of the challenges ahead. He learns about the high fees some healers charge and the lack of regulation in the profession. Nevertheless, he vows never to become a corrupt healer.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Luciel encounters a group of injured adventurers. Despite being a beginner, he offers to heal them.
