The episode begins with Sei, the protagonist, reflecting on her life since returning from Klausner's domain to the royal capital. She has been busy cleansing the miasma swamps and suppressing monster attacks. Recently, however, she has had some free time, as the knights are taking care of the areas without miasma.


One day, a large shipment of herbs from Klausner's domain arrives, specifically for Sei. A letter from Corinna, a character from Klausner's domain, accompanies the delivery. In it, she thanks Sei for her help in combating the monsters and mentions that the herbs are a gift. Sei decides to use the herbs for her new cosmetic research.


Sei is introduced to Franz and Oscar, who suggest that she establish her own trading company for her popular cosmetic products. They offer to handle the business side while she focuses on product development. Sei agrees, and her cosmetics become a success not only among nobles but also merchant families.


Sei and her bodyguard Lord Hawke visit a newly opened café that serves a familiar drink from her previous world: coffee. Sei reminisces about her life in Japan and her love for coffee. She even considers brewing her own coffee if she can obtain the right tools.


Toward the end of the episode, Sei expresses her desire to find rice, a staple from her former life in Japan. She learns about Morgenhafen, a large port city, as a possible place to find rice. She is fascinated and expresses her interest in visiting the city.


The episode ends with the characters looking forward to their journey to Morgenhafen, setting the stage for the next episode.
