In the eighth episode of the second season of Seijo no Maryoku wa Bannou Desu, the story unfolds in the picturesque Hawke Domain, where Sei and her companions face new challenges and discoveries.

The episode begins with Sei reflecting on her journey as a Saint, from her unexpected calling to her current mission of purifying the Miasma Swamps. She wishes for the people she has encountered to continue living happily.

Sei and Commander Hawke arrive in Hawke Domain and are greeted by the breathtaking landscape. They are warmly welcomed by Commander Hawke’s parents, Helmut and Claudia Hawke. The hospitality extends to a delicious dinner, where Sei gets to enjoy the local cuisine, particularly the region’s famous cheese and wine.

During dinner, Sei learns about the region’s attractions, including a scenic lake and a hot spring. Commander Hawke’s parents offer Sei their villa near the hot spring for her stay, which she gratefully accepts.

Later, Sei feels exhausted from the day’s events and attributes it to the pressure of meeting Commander Hawke’s parents. Commander Hawke checks on Sei and expresses his concern and gratitude that she attended the dinner despite her fatigue.

The next day, the group learns about a mine where an increasing number of monsters have been sighted, suggesting the presence of a Miasma Swamp. They decide to visit the mine but find it abandoned due to the monster threat. Suddenly, they hear a scream, rush to investigate, and encounter a group of miners under attack by monsters.

Sei and the support unit quickly intervene to rescue the miners and secure the area. They learn that the mine has been overrun by an unprecedented number of monsters.

As they prepare for the expedition into the mine the following day, Sei contemplates the possibility that this might be her final mission as a Saint. The episode ends with the team bracing for a fierce battle against the monstrous threats in the mine, setting the stage for the next episode titled "Final Act."
