The episode begins with a flashback to Leonis Shealto, a hero who was betrayed and killed. A mysterious voice urges him to rise against the world, and he awakens in the present as Leo. He discovers that he possesses a mark of authority, allowing him to control his subordinates, including Selia. Selia asks about the extent of his control, and Leo assures her that he will not abuse it. They discuss Selia's bloodlust as a Vampire Queen, and Leo advises her to inform him before drinking his blood next time.

Elfiné Phillet calls Selia to inform her about a mysterious strategy meeting. Selia suspects it involves a maritime reconnaissance team that has yet to report back. In the Seventh Assault Garden's command center, officers discuss a mysterious underwater phenomenon—possibly a new Void species or even a Void Lord. The commander decides to dispatch a reconnaissance squadron to investigate.

Selia and Leo spend their day off training. Leo summons skeletons as training dummies for Selia, who significantly improves her combat skills. After training, they visit the "Sunny Spot House," a restaurant where Selia works part-time and which also serves as a home for orphaned children. Selia feels deeply connected to the children there, and Leo understands that she wants to protect this place.

Meanwhile, Leo's demonic servants, Blackus and Shary, continue their investigation. Blackus detects unsettling vibrations beneath the city's outskirts. The episode ends with a sense of impending danger as the research team prepares to investigate the mysterious underwater phenomenon.
