“Seirei Gensouki 2” launches in October with new characters and teaser visuals

The highly anticipated second season of the anime Seirei Gensouki, known as Seirei Gensouki 2, will premiere in October. The announcement was accompanied by the introduction of new characters, their voice actors, a teaser image, and a preview video.

Seirei Gensouki is based on the light novel by Yuri Kitayama and tells the story of Rio, an orphaned boy living in the slums of another world. He remembers his former life as Haruto Amakawa and discovers that he possesses extraordinary magical abilities. The story follows his rise from the lowest social strata to a position of power and influence.

The second season will introduce new characters:

Aki Sendou, Haruto's childhood friend, who was transported to the other world along with Miharu, voiced by Marika Takano.

Masato Sendou, Aki's sibling, is voiced by Aguri Onishi.

Hiroaki Sakata, a young man summoned through the Hero Summoning, is voiced by Hiroyuki Yoshino.

The teaser video features Rio alongside the heroines of the series. The trailer showcases scenes of Miharu, Aki, Masato, and Hiroaki after their unexpected journey to the other world.
