The TV anime "Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!" – roughly translated as "The Student Council Also Has Its Holes!" – has a fixed start date. The adaptation of the manga of the same name by Muchimaro will air from October 3, 2026, at 24:30 on TOKYO MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV, technically speaking, in the night of October 4 at 0:30 Japan time. Along with the announcement of the date, the first main trailer was released on August 22. It consists of numerous scene images from the series and provides the first detailed impression of the animation after the character videos shown in the summer. The trailer is available on the project's official YouTube channel.

In the trailer, the opening is also heard for the first time. The title "Kaze no Naka wa Hashirukkyanai!" comes from the music group Sangatsu no Phantasia around singer Mia. The lyrics were written by Mia and Noko, the music was composed by Noko, and the arrangement is by Akita Horie. Both musicians commented extensively on the announcement. Mia describes the piece as an "up-tempo song full of youthfulness that makes you feel like you want to start running right away." She perceived the student council characters as people who secretly suffer under the world around them – who cannot express their thoughts well and whose vulnerable sides quickly overreact. The song aims to capture exactly this mix of wistfulness and the will to somehow push through and charge forward. Noko, singer and guitarist of the band Shinsei Kamattechan, known among other things for the opening "Boku no Sensou" from "Attack on Titan," says he wrote the music with the feeling of "racing at full speed through a strange but lovable everyday life." Especially on days when nothing seems to go right, the title is meant to carry exactly that mood.

As for the plot: To avoid having to repeat a year, high school student Ume Mizunoe joins the student council of the private school Fujinasu Academy. He excels in language subjects, but his performance in the sciences is so weak that his promotion is at risk – the student council is supposed to improve his grades. Instead of a quiet side job, a quirky group awaits him there: the charismatic, secretly lecherous student council president Hisako Kotobuki, the friendly yet incredibly strong treasurer Arisu Terui, the cheeky boy Tan Otori, and the small secretary Komaro Michinoku, who resembles an abandoned kitten. The clash of these personalities creates a turbulent, heartfelt school comedy.

Direction is by Naoyuki Tatsuwa, with Ryo Imamura responsible for character design and as chief animation director. Masahiro Yokotani handles series composition and script, and the music is by Tomoki Kikuya. Animation is by Studio Passione; the main animation team includes Kay Yu, Kona Ming, Asatoshi Oki, mockingbird, and Sanzashi Ame. In the main roles, Shogo Sakata voices Ume Mizunoe, Haruka Shiraishi as Hisako Kotobuki, Miyu Tomita as Komaro Michinoku, Hiyori Kono as Tan Otori, Shizuka Ishigami as Arisu Terui, and Yumi Uchiyama as homeroom teacher Satomi Hiratsuka. The series airs Saturdays from 24:30; changes to the broadcast schedule are possible according to production information.
