During the recently held Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair, the team behind the TV anime adaptation of Satoshi Mizukami's "Sengoku Youko" manga presented four character videos.

These videos introduced the characters Jinka, Tama, Shinsuke, and Shakugan, along with eight additional cast members:

The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2024. It will cover two story arcs: the "World Reformation Siblings Arc" and the "Thousand Demon Chaos Arc," aiming for a comprehensive adaptation spanning three cours (a quarter of a year).

The story revolves around a world divided between humans and monster-like beings called Katawara. At its center are Tama, a Katawara who loves humans and vows to protect them, and her brother Jinka, who despises humans. They are joined by Shinsuke, a shy swordsman searching for strength.
