Sengoku Youko - Episode 16: Mad God of the Wild City

In Episode 16, the events in the Wild City escalate as Senya, Shinsuke, and their allies face numerous challenges. The episode begins with a chaotic confrontation where illusions, created by Tama—who introduces herself as an old friend of Shinsuke—cause confusion. Amid the turmoil, the group struggles to identify the real Tsukiko from the illusions, leading to both humorous and tense moments.

Senya saves Tsukiko from a fall, and Tama shares her search for new information about Jinka. Shinsuke recounts his own journey, including his training under the Mountain Goddess and accepting a mission to find Jinka in exchange for restoring a friend. Their reunion is interrupted by Mudo, a dragon, who vows to defeat them.

The plot shifts to their arrival in Kyo, a city plagued by miasma and spirits. Senya delivers a letter at Shinsuke's request, while the Mad God appears and targets Senya for his power. The pursuit by the Mad God forces Senya to reflect on his quest for humanity and avoiding conflict. Shinsuke intervenes to help, emphasizing the need for survival and encouraging Senya to keep going.

The episode ends with a mysterious new character, Yoshiteru, hinting at further revelations to come.
