Sailor Moon franchise has announced, on its 25 anniversary, that the sequel of the Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal animation is being made by its team and will be released soon.
It has also officially announced that the Blue-ray disc of 1990s Sailor Moon animation series, will be released. The disc will be released in two parts i.e. the first 23 episodes will be released on 14th June, and the remaining part will be released on 9th August. To show the nineties animation episodes into this modern era they have done some changes with the episodes. First: they have converted the old picture quality into high definition quality and second: they have introduced an attracting disc cover. They are also planning to release the blue-ray disc of Sailor Moon R and three more movies.
The news also comes out that the Sailor Moon Crystal is coming up with new Infinity arc. It will be created by a totally new staff. The show will be premiered on Tokyo MX, in April.
The animation studio also planning to release Sailor Moon Crystal in North America however it has been continuously releasing in Japan. The blue-ray disc of the first season of Sailor Moon Crystal will be released by Viz media on 16th August.
