Sequel to Confinement Zone Level X announced, teaser promo video released

A continuation of the anime Confinement Zone Level X, originally created by Romi Oishi, has been officially announced, and a teaser promo video has been released. This news was shared via the official social media account of Confinement Zone Level X.

Confinement Zone Level X began in 2017 as a chat novel and is a dark fantasy story following high school student Ryoka Tsurumi as she struggles to escape a mysterious "Confinement Zone" inhabited by an unidentified lifeform called X (Sai). Trapped in a cycle of despair, Ryoka must face terrifying challenges while trying to reunite with her family. The series originally appeared on the manga and novel app Peep and was later adapted into a "Light Anime," which aired on CBC TV in September.

In the anime adaptation, Ryoka is voiced by Sora Amamiya, while her childhood friend Shuhei Murozaka, who lives in the same housing complex, is played by Ryota Osaka. As a special promotion, Peep is offering free access to the first 20 chapters of the vertical color manga and the complete novel version of Confinement Zone Level X until October 24.
