Sequel to "Nijiyon Animation" announced and key visual and promotional video released

The production of the sequel to the TV anime "Nijiyon Animation" titled "Nijiyon Animation 2" has been officially announced. The news was revealed during the "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club 6th Live! I love You ⇆ You love Me" concert at Aichi Sky Expo on December 23 and 24. Along with the announcement, the key visual and a promotional video for "Nijiyon Animation 2" were released. The series is scheduled to air in April 2024.

"Nijiyon Animation" is a short anime series based on the spin-off manga "Nijiyon ~ Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Yonkoma ~" by Miyakohito, which is part of the "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club" franchise. The first season of the anime aired in January 2023.
