It has been announced that the first part of the anime film The Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh will be released on Netflix in December. The second part of the film is also in the works, but the release date is still unknown. The information was announced during Netflix Geeked Week.

The film will take place after the original series and before the events of the manga sequel, Four Knights of the Apocalypse. The story is an original work and seems to center on Tristan leaving his father's castle after a mysterious army attacked it. On his journey he meets fairies and giants who will change his life forever.
