Shadowverse Flame "Seven Shadows Arc" will be released in July

The official website for the TV anime of the smartphone card game Shadowverse by Cygames, Inc. has revealed the promotional clip for the fifth story arc (one quarter) of Shadowverse Flame, the second anime in the franchise. The "Seven Shadows Arc" will premiere in July.



The first season focuses on Hiiro Ryūgasaki, a student at Tensei Academy, who receives a mysterious smartphone with the popular digital card game "Shadowverse" installed on it. Through the game, Hiiro meets rivals, participates in tournaments, and forms friendships. The second season follows protagonist Light Tenryū and his friends as they grow through Shadowverse.

The team for the fifth season includes Naotaka Hayashi as assistant director, Tomoko Miyakawa as designer of the Digi-Friends, and Quan Bin Zhong, who replaces Kuniaki Nemoto as art director. Most of the staff from the first season return.
