"SHAMAN KING FLOWERS" new promotional video released, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka & Nobuyuki Hiyama join the cast

A new promotional video for the TV anime "SHAMAN KING FLOWERS," based on the manga by Hiroyuki Takei, has been released alongside the announcement of additional cast members.

The new promotional video begins with a narration by Hao, starting with "As the Shaman King, I..." It features Hana Asakura, the son of Yoh Asakura, who must fight without shamanic powers. His life changes when he encounters enemies capable of using Oversouls. The promotional video shows Hana entering the new shaman battle, which liberates him from his monotonous life, and highlights his lively expressions and intense fight scenes.

Among the newly announced cast members are Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Yousuke Kamogawa, who fights alongside the former Shaman King YVS, portrayed by Nobuyuki Hiyama. Returning cast members include Saki Endo as Kanna Bismarch, now working as a maid at Funbari Onsen, Kei Shindo as Marion Fauna, and Wakana Minami as Matilda Matisse. Both Matsuoka and Hiyama shared their thoughts on their roles.

"SHAMAN KING FLOWERS" is scheduled to air on January 9, 2024. This sequel to "SHAMAN KING" is set 14 years after the conclusion of the Shaman Fight, in which Hao became the Shaman King. The story focuses on the next generation of shamans, including Hana Asakura, and explores their adventures and challenges.
