He is determined to conquer the challenging Lightless Barrens by destroying pillar connections, utilizing the enhanced combo skills of his legacy weapon system, the Crystal Orbs of Gilta Brill. With a new solo-clear record time of 59 seconds, he defeats a pillar, collects valuable equipment, and discovers new possibilities for his weapon.

To progress, Sunraku seeks help from Psyger-0, who introduces herself as Rei. Together, they set out to traverse the Lightless Barrens. Rei demonstrates her abilities by precisely defeating enemies without taking damage, while Sunraku supports her. During their exploration, they stumble upon remnants of a battle from the Divinity era and discuss the possible connection between gigantic structures and monstrous beings.

Throughout their journey, Sunraku uncovers the significance of Bonus Unique Scenarios, which play a key role in unveiling the deep secrets of the game world. However, the journey takes an unexpected turn when Rei loses their way due to a poorly remembered shortcut. Eventually, they encounter Animalia and her group, the SF Zoo Guild. Tensions rise as Animalia reveals that Pencilgon, Sunraku’s clan leader, disclosed the spawn conditions of the unique scenario he wanted to keep secret. This information could grant Animalia’s group access to Rabituza Heaven, a highly coveted in-game region.

Despite the confrontation, Sunraku remains calm and acknowledges that Animalia and her guild are determined to defeat Lycagon the Nightslayer, the unique monster.
