In this episode, Sunraku is intensely preparing for the rematch against Lycagon the Nightslayer, one of the seven Colossi. At Level 99, he appears more determined than ever. Psyger-0, an experienced player from the Schwarz Vulf clan, joins Sunraku to face the powerful monster together.

During the battle, Lycagon reveals an enhanced ability: it can move through shadows and launch invisible attacks by deploying a shadow clone. This technique makes evasion significantly harder and already led to the swift downfall of the previous team, SF-Zoo. Sunraku and Psyger-0 devise a tactical strategy where Sunraku draws aggro while Psyger-0 and Rei, another teammate, look for openings to land heavy hits.

To counter the shadow attacks, Sunraku equips the special armor "Adebane," which allows him to control Suzaku, a robotic bird. Suzaku is deployed to disperse clouds and reveal the moon, thwarting Lycagon's shadow assaults. Meanwhile, Psyger-0 works on activating his ultimate abilities, "Apocalypse" and "Catastrophe," by landing enough hits.

During the intense battle, Sunraku uses his skill "Vorpal Secret [Waning Mirror]" as a feint to confuse Lycagon's invisible clone. The coordinated use of Suzaku and Psyger-0's ultimate attacks allows the team to gain control of the fight and effectively weaken Lycagon.
