Shangri-La Frontier Episode 4

At the beginning of the episode, Sunraku and Emul, a Vorpal Bunny NPC, return to Secondale. Sunraku is eager to reach Thirdrema, a larger city, before it gets overcrowded with new players due to the summer break. Emul agrees to accompany him, and so they set off on their journey.

During their travels, Sunraku tests the limits of his curse, "Lycagon's Mark," which causes lower-level monsters to flee from him. He manages to devise a strategy to defeat such monsters despite the restrictions. Satisfied, Sunraku decides to head straight for the area boss, Mud Digger, to gain access to Thirdrema.

Upon reaching the swampy area where the Mud Digger resides, Sunraku realizes he is at a disadvantage. The swamp forces players into a "run mode," making it difficult to evade the Mud Digger's attacks. Despite the challenges, Sunraku and Emul prepare for battle.

In the real world, Rakuro Hizutome (Sunraku) logs into another game, Berserk Online Passion (BOP), to engage in a PvP match with a friend, Modor Katzo. The two deliver a high-level battle, exploiting various in-game glitches—a specialty of trash gamers like them. After the match, Katzo reveals that he is considering joining Shangri-La Frontier, intrigued by Sunraku's enthusiasm for the game.

Later in the episode, Arthur Pencilgon is introduced, another player who learns that Sunraku has joined Shangri-La Frontier. Arthur is fascinated and contemplates guiding Sunraku through the game.

Back in Shangri-La Frontier, Sunraku and Emul face off against the Mud Digger. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers eager to see how Sunraku will overcome this challenging boss.
