Sunraku and his group—including Akane, Psyger-0, Ceecrue, Emul, Rust, and Mold—accidentally trigger a unique scenario after Sunraku forgets to disband the party following the Lycagon battle. They are stuffed into a barrel by the Crimson Whale pirate crew and taken aboard their ship, the Scarlet Whale. There, they learn that they must defeat the ghost ship Crying Innsman to find Ctarnidd of the Abyss.


During the voyage, a massive storm arises, from which the decaying ghost ship emerges. Captain Stude orders a head-on collision to ram the Crying Innsman. A chaotic battle then ensues against hordes of zombie-like fishmen. Sunraku utilizes his upgraded Empire Bee Twinblades and the support of his group, including Rust’s magic arrows and Mold’s buff abilities, to push back the monsters.


Psyger-0 fights despite having her stats halved due to the drawback of the Armageddon Arcanum, while Emul effectively cuts through the hordes with her Magic Edge. When the boss Frillshark Zombie appears, Sunraku and Mold coordinate an attack, using Emul as a living "cannon." The episode ends with the beginning of the final showdown against the monstrous captain of the ghost ship’s crew, while the Scarlet Whale remains under heavy fire.
