The second half of the second season of the anime Shangri-La Frontier, based on the original story by Katarina and Ryosuke Fuji, presents a new chapter titled "Gazing at the Sky, Roaming the Vast Sea, Running Through the Abyss City." A new visual and trailer have been released, showcasing upcoming developments and new characters, Stoodie and Araba.

In the newly released key visual, familiar characters like Sunraku, Emul, Akitsu Akane, and Psyger-0 appear against the backdrop of an impressive cityscape that seems to be turned upside down. Additionally, Araba and other figures make their first appearance here.

- Stoodie (voiced by Aki Kaneda)

Stoodie is an NPC who plays a central role in the story surrounding the "Seven Most Powerful Beings," particularly in connection with the unique monster "Abyssal Cthulhnid." Despite looking like a child, Stoodie is the captain of the Scarlet Whale, the ship of the Red Whale Pirates.

- Araba (voiced by Tohru Sakurai)

Araba is an NPC of the fishman race who is grateful to Sunraku after being rescued by him. In return, he accompanies the group as they explore the Abyssal Alliance metropolis, Luruias.

The trailer shows Sunraku and his companions facing off against the mighty Abyssal Cthulhnid. Stoodie’s voice is also heard for the first time here. With these new elements, the second season continues the adventure and unveils more secrets of the virtual world.
