The original soundtrack for the TV anime series "Shi no Yūgi de Meshi wo Kuu." (English title: "Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table") is set to be released on July 11, 2026. According to the official website, the album will include a total of 41 tracks.
In addition to the background music composed by Junichi Matsumoto, the soundtrack also features TV versions of the opening and ending themes. The opening theme "¬Ersterbend" is contributed by LIN (member of the group MADKID), who handled both the composition and arrangement. The ending theme "Inori" ("Prayer") is performed by singer Chiai Fujikawa, who also wrote the lyrics. The composition and arrangement were done by Seima Kondō of Elements Garden.
Furthermore, the album includes the two insert songs "Breathe" and "ReBreathe," sung by Machico together with LIN (MADKID). Both pieces were written, composed, and arranged by LIN.
The soundtrack will be released under the label number COCX-42658/9 by Nippon Columbia.
