“Shinmai Ossan Boukensha” anime premieres on July 1st

The TV anime "Shinmai Ossan Boukensha, Saikyou Party ni Shinu Hodo Kitaerarete Muteki ni Naru" will premiere on July 1. Alongside this announcement, the second promotional video, additional character and cast details, as well as information about the theme song have been revealed.

The latest video features the protagonist Rick Gladiator, an aspiring adventurer in his thirties who aims to fulfill his dream of becoming an adventurer. The video showcases Ryūho Nagaoka, who plays the kind-hearted late bloomer Lynx Lorolot, and Katsuyuki Konishi, who portrays Kelvin Ulwolf, the three-time consecutive champion of the Fist King Tournament.

The opening theme "Kouya ni Sakeyo Boukensha-tachi" by Akira Kushida and the ending theme "Sagashimono" by Chiai Fujikawa have been announced. The opening theme can be heard in the second promotional video. Comments from the newly announced artists and Fujikawa have also been released.

"Shinmai Ossan Boukensha" is an action-comedy about Rick, who, despite being over 30 years old, aspires to be an adventurer. The story highlights his relentless pursuit of his dream as he undergoes rigorous training under the masters of the continent's strongest group, the Orichalcum Fist, leading to his extraordinary growth and adventures.
