On Friday, Shogakukan’sSho-Comi is going to announce its fifth issue of the year. They will notify about a new anime adaptation of Sanrio Danshi. The anime is about to release with five voice artists. The artists are:

Takuya Eguchi will be the voice of Kota Hasegawa; he is a high school boy who loves Pom Pom Purin. Soma Saito will be the voice of Yu Mizuno, a melody lover. Jun Oosuka will be the voice of Shunsuke Yoshino, a Hello Kitty lover. Hiroyuki Kagura will be the voice of Ryo Nishimiya, a little twin star lover. Yuma Uchida will be the voice of Seiichiro Minamoto, a Cinnamoroll lover.

The anime revolves around a boy Kota Hasegawa, he really likes Pom Pom Purin dog. One day he meets his classmate, Yu Mizuno. Yu Mizuno likes the bunny my melody. Yu explains Kota that he shouldn’t ashamed of his love for Sanrio's cute characters. Yu, Kota, Shunsuke Yoshino, Ryo, and Minamoto mutually find out to accept their love towards characters.

This project was launched in last January, and in the April, Sanrio launched a merchandise line for the project. MangaOne app launched in last April, and Sho-Comi launched in June, both are managing by Mai Ando. The first manga focuses on the life of the boys, while the second one is focused on a romance between the boys and a heroine.

Sanrio released a song in November and a Smartphone game adaptation in September. The title of the song was Fun! Fantastic girl!
