Short film about Shabake published

"Shabake" by Megumi Hatakenakas celebrated its 20th anniversary with the release of an animated short film with the best moments from the manga.

The story that takes us back to the Edo period of Japan is 3 minutes long. You see the protagonist, Ichitaro, the weak young man named Wakadanna and his servants Sasuke and Jinkichi working with Ayakashis to solve mysterious cases. The short film has been available since July 19 on the adaptation's official website and on the YouTube channel of Shinchosha Verlag, which has been publishing the manga since its creation in 2001.

To accompany the appearance of the short film, the publisher published the 15th and final volume of the work, written and illustrated by Megumi Hatakenaka, on the same day of publication.
