The light novel series "The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess (Hikikomari Kyūketsuki no Monmon)" by Kotei Kobayashi is set to receive a new update. The official platform for the series has released the third promotional video, which also features the opening theme "Red Liberation" by fripSide. The series will premiere on October 7.



Additionally, three new cast members have been announced:

- Sora Amamiya will play the role of Millicent Bluenight.

- Reina Ueda has been cast as Melca Tiano.

- Saku Mizuno will play the role of Tio Flat.

The main roles in the anime will be voiced by:

- Tomori Kusunoki as Terakomari Gandesblood

- Sayumi Suzushiro as Villhaze

- Yōko Hikasa as Karen Helvetius

Behind the scenes, the series is directed by Tatsuma Minamikawa. He will work under the banner of Project No.9. Keiichirō Ōchi is in charge of series composition, while Tomoyuki Shimoya will serve as the character designer. Gō Shiina will compose the music for the series. To round out the series' auditory offerings, MIMiNARI will perform the ending theme titled "Nemurenai feat. Kusunoki Tomori."

The novels approach the vampire theme in an unconventional way. Terakomari, nicknamed Komari, is a vampire who despises blood. Hailing from a renowned vampire lineage, her aversion to blood makes her quite the oddball—fragile, clumsy, and devoid of magical abilities. When she awakens, she finds herself in a position of power, leading a notoriously undisciplined troop. With the support of her loyal maid, Komari tries to navigate her unexpected leadership role.
