Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū more information about S2

Additional information has been announced for the second season of Shōwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjū. Mamoru Hatakeyama is once again directing at Studio Deen. Jun Kumagai is again handling the script, and Meiko Hosoi is back as the character designer.

The cast includes:

- Tomokazu Seki as the third generation Sukeroku

- Akira Ishida as Yakumo Yurakutei

- Yu Kobayashi as Konatsu

- Mikako Komatsu as Shinnosuke

- Shigeru Ushiyama as Matsuda

- Toshihiko Seki as Higuchi

- Kappei Yamaguchi as Amaken

- Takaya Hashi as Head Boss

- Yasuyuki Kase as Yakuza Boss

- Shou Sudou as Ani-san

- Koji Yusa as Mangetsu Tsuburaya

- Kouichi Yamadera as Sukeroku

- Megumi Hayashibara as Miyokichi

While the first season was set in the past, the second season will take place in the present.
