The episode begins with a visit from Teru Momijiyama to Nagata Stationary, a small shop run by Chihiro-san, a family friend. Chihiro-san struggles with back pain and the loneliness of running the shop alone since her husband passed away. Teru feels helpless but wants to do something for her.

Teru also struggles with the fact that she hasn’t been able to use her fire powers since her duel with Stardust. Lady Black, a member of the international rescue organization Black Cross, visits Teru to check on her recovery. Teru asks Lady Black for a favor—to help Chihiro-san with her back pain. Lady Black agrees and offers her healing powers to ease Chihiro’s pain.



Once she feels better, Chihiro-san expresses her desire to climb Mount Tanpopo, which she used to visit with her late husband. Teru, Lady Black, and Chihiro-san set out on the journey. During the hike, Lady Black reveals that she lost both legs in an accident but regained them through sheer determination and daily hiking. She encourages Teru to believe in herself more.

After the hike, Teru attends a calligraphy club meeting at school, where she learns about the connection between one’s heart and the art of calligraphy. Inspired, she tries once more to use her fire powers by focusing on her emotions and intentions. She succeeds in summoning the fire but accidentally sets a piece of paper ablaze, which Mr. Shrimpy quickly extinguishes. The episode ends with Teru gaining a new understanding of her powers and resolving to become a better heroine.
