SHY S2 - Episode 2

In the second episode, Teru tries to reach Shrimpy to bring him an umbrella, but Shrimpy is asleep. Teru goes to the school library and sits at a table. There, she is approached by a girl with an eyepatch who introduces herself as Beni Hanawa. Beni talks about the rain and begins to tell Teru about her literature club, which consists only of her.

Beni tells several horror stories about the school and mentions a book called "The Bloody Book," which is supposedly hidden in the library. She asks Teru to help her search for the book. Together, they comb through the library and eventually find the book on a high shelf. Beni discovers that the book belonged to the former members of the literature club and believes it was part of a plan by those members. Although Beni is disappointed, she is happy to have found the book and thanks Teru for her help.

As Teru leaves the school, she notices that Beni has disappeared. When Iko appears, she explains to Teru that the literature club was disbanded long ago, which shocks Teru. The next day, Teru meets Beni again, who explains that the literature club was merged into the newspaper club the previous year. Teru is surprised to learn that Beni isn’t actually a ghost.

Later, Teru and Iko visit a store and talk about a recent incident involving a purse snatcher. They help a girl named Ai Tennoji, who is fleeing from the thief. On their way to Tanpopo Station, the three girls talk about karaoke and Ai’s background. Ai explains that she comes from a special family and doesn’t have time to hang out with friends like normal girls do.

While walking around the city, the girls spot the purse snatcher again. Before Teru can transform into Shy, Ai stops her and subdues the thief. Ai tells Teru and Iko that she ran away from home because she’s being pursued and asks them to stay with her.

Teru asks Ai about her impressive fighting skills, and Ai reveals that she comes from a shinobi family. Suddenly, a ninja named Tokimaru appears, surprising Teru and Iko.
