Skip and Loafer Anime with New Commercial and Additional Cast

The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Misaki Takamatsu's "Skip and Loafer" has released a new promotional video and announced additional cast members. Joining the original cast are Mitsuki Saiga as Nao, Hikaru Tanaka as Tsukasa Mukai, Ayumu Murase as Kento Yamada, Ryohei Kimura as Narumi Kanechika, and Minami Tsuda as Tokiko Takamine.



The series will premiere on April 4. Crunchyroll will stream the series simultaneously with its Japanese broadcast.

The series is directed by Kotomi Deai at P.A. Works, with Manami Umeshita handling character design and animation direction. The music is composed by Takatsugu Wakabayashi. Keina Suda performs the opening theme "Mellow," while Rikako Aida sings the ending theme "Hanauta to Mawari Michi."

The story follows Iwakura Mitsumi, an excellent student who dreams of attending a prestigious university and making a difference in the world. However, city life overwhelms her, and she struggles to adjust to her new high school in Tokyo. Fortunately, she befriends Shima Sousuke, a laid-back classmate who helps her navigate her new surroundings.
