The episode begins with Mitsumi (often called Mitsu) getting fashion tips from her uncle Nao, who is a stylist, for a zoo visit with Shima Sousuke, a popular boy from the city. Although she insists that Shima is just a friend, her family speculates about his intentions.

The episode follows the two on their trip to the zoo. At the beginning, there is a brief confusion when Shima is introduced to Mitsumi’s friends, where he clarifies that he is her uncle. The day at the zoo goes smoothly, with Shima taking the lead and guiding Mitsumi around.

Meanwhile, an interesting interaction occurs between Saijou Ririka, a model friend of Shima’s, and Mitsumi’s friends. They discover Ririka’s controversial past, which reveals more about Shima’s social circle and makes them reconsider their opinion of him. The girls believe that Shima is a "clout chaser"—someone who seeks out famous or influential friends for personal gain—which prompts Mitsumi to reflect on his motives.

Later, Shima and Mitsumi share a moment in a souvenir shop, where Shima gives Mitsumi a matching keychain for a couple, making her consider using it later.

After returning from the zoo, Mitsumi invites her friends over for a sleepover at her house, where they also study. The girls chat about fashion, and we see Mitsumi trying to keep up with the conversation.

Toward the end of the episode, Mika, one of Mitsumi’s friends, leaves the pajama party early, citing a supposed family dinner. However, it is hinted that she does this to avoid potential relationship talks between Mitsumi and Shima, suggesting that she might have feelings for Shima.
