Sorcerous Stabber Orphen anime series continues into Doom of Dragon's Sanctuary arc

The latest episode of the popular anime series "Sorcerous Stabber Orphen," based on the light novel series by Yoshinobu Akita, is heading toward an exciting climax. The anime's official website has just released a promotional video highlighting the highly anticipated "Doom of Dragon's Sanctuary" arc.



The current "Sanctuary Arc" aired on April 12 and introduced a number of new characters to the series. These characters include Azalie, voiced by Yōko Hikasa, Armagest, played by Akira Ishida, Jack, portrayed by Hiroki Yasumoto, and several others. Notably, Showtaro Morikubo, the voice actor for Orphen, also lent his talent to the new opening song "Motive Rain."

This new story arc seamlessly follows the third season, "Chaos in Urbanrama." The franchise has had a successful run since its first season in January 2020, which concluded after 13 episodes.

The light novel series on which the anime is based has been making waves since 1994. The novels tell the story of Orphen, a sorcerer who leaves the prestigious Tower of Fang. The plot primarily follows Orphen's quest to rescue Azalie, a girl he regards as his sister. Their reunion after five years in the bustling city of Totokanta forms the core of the narrative.
