The anime Sorcerous Stabber Orphen: Chaos in Urbanrama has released new information and materials, including a trailer and a promotional image. Showtaro Morikubo and Mai Fuchigami will perform the theme songs "Hysteric Caravan" and "Fantastic Partner" and play the characters Orphen and Dortin, while Junya Enoki, Takuya Eguchi, Kana Hanazawa, and Mariya Ise take on additional roles. The confirmed voice actors so far are Shōtarō Morikubo, Mai Fuchigami, Marie Mizuno, Rumi Okubo, Yūsuke Kobayashi, Daisuke Ono, and Shiki Aoki. The director is Takayuki Hamana from Studio DEEN, Yoko Kikuchi and Rio are designing the characters, and Shinnosuke is composing the music. Kenji Konuta is writing the script.



Chaos in Urbanrama is produced by Studio DEEN. Director Takayuki Hamana, who previously worked on Library War, is back on board. The character designs are by Yoko Kikuchi and Rio, while Shinnosuke is responsible for the soundtrack. Kenji Konuta takes over as scriptwriter, succeeding Reiko Yoshida. The anime will premiere in January 2023 and be available on Crunchyroll.

Orphen is a former student of the Tower of Fang, known as the best school for sorcerers. Its students are respected for their mastery of magic. However, one of his former classmates, Bloody August, has succumbed to ambition and become a threat to all living beings. Bloody August is a powerful monster that brings destruction wherever it goes. Orphen is determined to capture and revert it back to its human form, even if it costs him his life. However, his former classmates have turned against him and are resolved to bring down Bloody August to restore the school's reputation.
