"Sound! Euphonium 3" premieres on April 7th, character promo video for Kumiko released

The long-awaited third season of the TV anime series "Sound! Euphonium" will premiere on April 7. Along with this announcement, fans were treated to a promo video featuring the protagonist Kumiko Oumae. The promo video showcases the range of Kumiko's emotions, from comical gestures to her most serious expressions, and offers a glimpse into her high school life, personal challenges, and passionate involvement in the school's concert band.

In addition to the promo video, a series of character promo videos will be released weekly starting February 11 to further excite fans of the series. Special edited versions of the first two episodes will be screened on March 16 at Shinjuku Piccadilly in Tokyo and on March 17 at MOVIX Kyoto in Kyoto. These screenings will feature talks with key cast and production team members, including Kumiko's voice actress Tomoyo Kurosawa and others in Tokyo, as well as director Tatsuya Ishihara, assistant director Taichi Ogawa, and character designer and animation director Akiko Ikeda in Kyoto. Ticket sales for these special events began on February 3.

"Sound! Euphonium," based on the novel by Ayano Takeda, is an anime series produced by Kyoto Animation. It tells the coming-of-age story of Kumiko Oumae, a member of the Kitauji High School concert band, and her classmates. The current season follows Kumiko in her third year of high school, where she takes on the role of club president and portrays the life and dynamics within the Kitauji High School Concert Band.
