Meanwhile, Denken, Laufen, and Richter suggest dining out. The trio’s choice coincidentally leads them to the same restaurant Frieren has in mind. The group dynamics are amusing, particularly Laufen’s grandfatherly behavior and Richter’s patience when his late wife is mentioned.

Elsewhere in town, Übel meets Land. Since she recognizes him as the original and not a clone, she wants to get to know him better. Her method of choice is a magic technique she learned from Wirbel.

At the restaurant, Frieren, Fern, and Stark are already enjoying their meal when Denken, Laufen, and Richter arrive.
