The latest installment of the "Space Battleship Yamato" remake series titled "Yamato yo Eien ni REBEL3199" Chapter 2: "Akahi no Shutsugeki" (Red Sun Assault) has revealed its key visual and official trailer.

The key visual, designed by character designer Nobutaka Yuuki, depicts the protagonist Susumu Kodai holding a firearm alongside the enemy commander Alfons, who is portrayed with strikingly blond hair.

"Yamato yo Eien ni REBEL3199" is a reimagining of the third theatrical film "Yamato yo Eien ni" from 1980, with its story told across seven chapters. The plot takes place two years after the disappearance of the home planet Gamillas and the planet Iskandar, following the crew of the spaceship Yamato on their mission to combat the mysterious and powerful entity known as Grand Reverse. Their journey is crucial to saving humanity from the threat posed by this enigmatic object.
