The April issue of Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday (Gessan) magazine revealed on Tuesday that Hiroshi Takashige and Ryōji Minagawa's Spriggan (Striker) manga is inspiring a new anime series by David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Cells at Work!), which will be released on Netflix.

The manga's story focuses on Yū Ominae, a high school student who is also a Spriggan, an agent tasked by the ARCAM Corporation with protecting the ancient relics of an advanced older civilization from falling into the hands of states and entities that would misuse them.
