Spy x Family Season 2 announced

Spy x Family, an anime and manga franchise by Tatsuya Endo, recently released the finale of its first season. However, fans of the anime don’t have to be sad, as a continuation and an original film have already been announced. The announcement video was shown at Jump Festa and is now available online. The second season and the film will be released in 2023. The first season of the anime aired in April 2021 and will continue in spring 2022.



WIT Studio and Cloverworks are responsible for the animation of the series, with Kazuhiro Furuhashi serving as director. Kazuaki Shimada is in charge of character design and works alongside Kyoji Asano as chief animation director. The music is composed by (K)NoW_NAME. The first season consists of a total of 25 episodes.

Crunchyroll streams the Spy x Family anime and describes the plot as follows: Secret agent Twilight must pose as a family man to get close to a high-ranking politician and secure world peace. His wife is a deadly assassin, and neither knows the other’s true identity. Only their adopted daughter, a telepath, seems to be aware of the truth.
